The Cross Turismo is arguably the most complete fast estate available today. More than that, it?s a better car than a regular Taycan marginally blunter to drive, but moving away from a purer sporting focus serves the Cross Turismo well. Similar underneath they may be, but this is a different car in terms of outlook, ability and ethos and further distanced from the four-door than we expected. Its comfort and dynamic range is dazzling, it comes across as even more throughly developed and capable. Porsche has moved the game on. Meer dan dat, het is een betere auto dan een gewone Taycan - misschien iets minder scherp om te rijden, maar het afstappen van een zuiver sportieve focus komt de Cross Turismo ten goede. Qua onderstel mogen ze vergelijkbaar zijn, maar dit is een andere auto qua visie, capaciteiten en ethos en nog verder verwijderd van de vierdeurs dan we hadden verwacht. Zijn comfort en dynamisch bereik zijn verbluffend, hij komt over als nog grondiger ontwikkeld en capabeler. Porsche heeft de lat hoger gelegd. Plus que cela, c'est une meilleure voiture qu'une Taycan régulière - légèrement moins aiguisée à conduire, mais s'éloigner d'un accent purement sportif sert bien la Cross Turismo. Ils peuvent être similaires en dessous, mais c'est une voiture différente en termes de perspective, de capacité et d'éthique, et encore plus éloignée de la quatre portes que nous ne l'avions prévu. Son confort et son éventail dynamique sont éblouissants, elle apparaît comme encore plus aboutie et capable. Porsche a repoussé les limites.
